Gabby Petito was reported missing on September 11, ten days after her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, returned from their cross-country road trip without her. Her body was later recovered and it was determined that homicide was the cause of death.
Since Petito’s disappearance, Laundrie and his family refused to give any useful information to the police, which has increased public suspicion. There have been several potential spottings of Laundrie, but authorities have not yet located him.
Although it is unclear what role Brian’s parents play in his disappearance, his sister has been compliant with the police and the investigation. However, she is now the victim of death threats and other troubling messages.
